Our Wishlist: Gifts In Kind

Gifts in kind are non-monetary items that represent value to the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Our Animal Rescue Department and Law Enforcement Departments along with our three Animal Care and Adoption Centers need your help. Here’s a list of supplies and equipment that will help us to help rescue and care for animals who have been injured, lost, abused or just abandoned and need a second chance at life.

Boston Veterinary Care at the ARL of Boston

• Electronic thermometers (3) at $235 each at MiamiMed.com
• Pulse oximeter $1245 at SurgiVet

Boston

• Dog-safe plush toys of all sizes (please no stuffed animals with beads or plastic eyes)
• Durable rubber squeaky toys

• Tennis balls
• “Nylabone-type” toys and other dental chews

• Nina Ottoson Dog Brick (can be found at nina-ottosson.com and other sites like Amazon)
• Big rawhides/knuckle bones, etc.
• Meaty training treats (please no dry biscuit type bones for training)
• Phone books for small animals to shred
• Clean used towels for cat beds

• Cat Nap-purr by Snyder Manufacturing:  $61 each. Available in 21” and 24” sizes, shelter needs a total of 24 units. 

Brewster

• Clean used towels, t-shirts and sweatshirts for cat beds

Rescue Services

• Nikon D60 camera package: $600-$800 through major camera stores, catalogues and online sources.

 Spay Waggin'

• Cotton bath towels
• Laundry detergent
• Bleach (unopened)
• HP ink cartridges model 96 (black) and 97 (tri-color)

All of our shelters are in constant need of clean towels, bleach, dish & laundry detergent and cat and dog toys. You can also donate a Kuranda dog bed to our shelters through Kuranda's website. Click here to learn how!
